"SPORTS YOGIS"; is a customized yoga program which helps
in enhancing and improving the stamina as well as focus of the
sports person on the game; be it golf, cricket, football/
soccer, or billiards etc etc. You name it, and we will
strategize a customized workshop specifically meeting your
game requirements which will basically depend on the analysis
we come upon.
After
several discussions and interviews of many prominent sports
persons, Yogalife research team understood the requirements
and various other factors effecting the ideal playing flow of
a specific player. Therefore, this program; basically derived
from the "Corporate Yogis" program; was introduced. The
"Sports Yogis" program makes sure, this customized program
delivers what it is required to be game for the game. The
content of the course will vary depending on the requirements
of the game.
SPECIAL OLYMPICS BHARAT (INDIA)
Yogalife
enjoyed one of its favorite projects: working with 139 special
athletes from India who participated in the Special Olympics
World Summer Games held in Shanghai, China from 2nd to 11th of
October 2007.

Yogalife
conducted a workshop for the Special Olympics Team of India ,
which consists of 139 special athletes from different fields,
which was a great success. The objective was to equip them
with the great inner power, a strength which everybody is
carrying within so that it empower them for their success, to
become a milestone in the history of Indian sports.
The beautifully disciplined kids enjoyed their first Yoga
session on Sunday with lots of laughter and dedication. After
the class they loudly shouted for more Yoga. Subsequent
workshop for the team will took place on 25th and 26th of
September in the afternoon.
We are proud to run this workshop with these enthusiastic,
young athletes, who despite of all the odds ready to take up
the world at YMCA, Greater NOIDA, the venue for the final
preparatory training camp before departing for Shanghai on 27
September 2007.
The athletes participated in 13 Olympic-type sports such as
aquatics, athletics, badminton, basketball, bocce, cricket,
cycling, football, roller skating, volleyball, handball, Table
Tennis, power lifting.

India Sports Minister Mani Shankar Aiyar announced on 10 May
2006 that the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs has
conferred Priority Classification as an accredited sports
federation on Special Olympics Bharat (India). The
announcement in New Delhi recognizes the status of Special
Olympics in India and exemplifies the continued growth of
Special Olympics throughout the world. This year, Special
Olympics celebrated attaining a five-year growth goal to reach
2 million people with intellectual disabilities. Currently,
there are more than 2.25 million athletes worldwide
participating in Special Olympics, 200,000 of which train and
compete in 24 Olympic-type sports throughout India.
