The
training will take place over 4 weeks. Classes will start at
6h00 and end at 18h00 including breaks.
A normal
day looks like the following:
• 6.00-8.30 Meditation and Yoga
• Breakfast
• 9.30-12.30 Yoga principles, philosophy and exercises
• Lunch
• 14.00-16.00 Teaching Practice with Feedback
• Coffee Break
• 16.30-18.00 Yoga
Programme Structure
First week:
June 2008, Level I Basic Yoga
• Participants will be
introduced to meaning of yoga and history and philosophy of
Yoga.
• Will learn asanas
(postures), pranayama (breathing exercises) and the
counter-indications in a yoga class.
• Different (types)
paths of yoga
• You will start
teaching from very first day there is no substitution to
practice.
Second
week: June
2008, Level II
Basic Yoga
• Participants will
deepen their knowledge of yoga and how to bring the philosophy
into everyday life and into
a class.
• Students will learn 7
Spiritual laws of success and their application for Yoga and
life.
• Students will also
learn how to conduct yoganidra (relaxation exercises) and a
meditation session.
• The Bhagavad-Gita will
be given to students to read.
Third Week:
June 2008, Level I Advanced Yoga
• Students will learn
how to manage a yoga class, how to create understanding &
overcome resistance in a
class.
• There will be
discussion on the sacred books of yoga (Yoga Sutras,
Bhagavad-Gita, etc).
• Students will also
learn more advanced postures and their variations, advanced
pranayama and meditation.
Forth Week:
June 2008, Level
II Advanced Yoga
•
Students will learn how to design a class. Personal
evaluations, presentations and the examinations will take
place towards the end of the week. Experienced yoga teachers may
access the Advanced courses without
taking the Basic Yoga courses.
