ABOUT
> SANJEEV KUMAR BHANOT -
FOUNDER, YOGALIFE FOUNDATION
From a small desert town called Dungargarh in Rajasthan to the
alpine slopes of Switzerland, it has been a long but beautiful
journey for Sanjeev Bhanot, Founder, Yogalife Foundation.
As a little boy, Sanjeev was rather unconventional, interested
in the paranormal and the spiritual. His frequent interactions
with the mystics of Dungargarh introduced him to yoga at the
tender age of five and guided him to his calling– to spread
yoga and heal people.
Sanjeev has been spreading the magic of yoga throughout the
world for almost 15 years now. The pleasant aura that
surrounds his being is testimony to the years of penance and
practice devoted to understanding the physiology and
psychology of the human body. His in depth knowledge of the
human anatomy gives him an edge while teaching yoga asana.
Sanjeev’s yoga transforms the way you look at life, making you
more positive, healthy and totally empowered.
Sanjeev Bhanot has always been a seeker. His thirst for
knowledge makes his style of yoga very interesting as it
combines dynamic and innovative techniques with traditional
yoga asana to benefit the learner to the maximum. No wonder
then, when Sanjeev is giving a lecture or teaching yoga at the
Chopra Centre, California , in Geneva, London, Germany or
Istanbul, the halls are packed with people from all walks of
life.
Sanjeev is also one of the pioneers of yoga in Delhi. In the
initial years of Sanjeev’s career, India was still waking up
to yoga and the west was cashing in. After 7 years in Geneva,
Switzerland and marriage to his beloved, Sabine, Sanjeev
returned to India to spread yoga philosophy through Yogalife.
In 1990, Sanjeev earned a degree in Biology and Chemistry (BSc)
and learned traditional Naturopathy in Delhi. Since 1992,
Sanjeev has worked as a professional yoga trainer/therapist.
He is also conducting Stress Management trainings in Delhi,
Geneva, and around Europe.
Sanjeev has enjoyed working in Karlsbad / California and
London, Italy, France and Germany etc. He has been working
with international organizations like the UN, World Bank,
UNHCR, the World Meteorological Organization and Deutsche
Bank. Today, he is presenting yoga sessions on national
television and running the Yogalife studio in Delhi. He is the
principle designer of special programmes such as couples yoga,
kids yoga, sports yoga and corporate yoga. He is also the lead
designer and implementer of the teachers training programme.
